Instead of going to church on Easter Sunday, I got up at 5 a.m. and headed to the beach to view the sunrise. Couldn't have been more beautiful or peaceful. Then took a macro lens to Washington Oaks to see some new Spring beauty.
This spectacular beach offers the much-photographed driftwood, but also a variety of interesting textures and formations made of clay and sand, as well as the constantly eroding shoreline itself with its multitude of exposed tree roots. Plus, children will have a great deal of fun exploring it all. This trek involved carrying a mere Canon G10 and tiny tripod, both lightweight alternatives on a long walk that won't sacrifice too much image quality. However, using the zoom on the camera reveals diminishing image quality.
